The charter
We do not sell seats. We do not publish a timetable. You say where, and when — Fly Obsidian arranges the rest.
Not a fleet company
The founders are long-standing operators. That is not a slogan. It is how the aircraft is found: the right metal, for this strip, on this hour, from people we already trust.
A fixed fleet looks tidy on a website. It is also a constraint. The trip to a lodge strip and the trip to Luton should not be forced through the same three tail numbers. We source per brief.
01 · Aircraft

01 · Bush & lodge strips
The honest answer for a short field and a dirt runway. Quiet, capable, and unbothered by a thousand metres of packed earth.

02 · Domestic & regional
Johannesburg to Cape Town, Durban, Livingstone, Maputo. Fast enough to change the shape of a day.

03 · Continent
Cabin you can work in. Legs that reach Mauritius, Nairobi, Windhoek without making a production of it.

04 · Long haul
Dubai, London, Munich, the eastern seaboard. A crew that has rested. A cabin that does not ask you to pretend.
Specific types — PC-12, Citation, Challenger, Gulfstream and the rest — are named on the trip, not as a catalogue. The aircraft follows the brief.

From the ground
01
Origin, destination, time, who is travelling. A sentence is enough — we will come back to you the same day.
02
Light jet, midsize, heavy, turboprop. Whichever is right for the strip and the hour — not whichever happens to be sitting in a hangar with our name on it.
03
The unglamorous work that makes a departure feel inevitable. Slots, overflight, a handler who is actually there, catering that does not embarrass you.
04
The desk does not close when the wheels leave the ground. If the plan moves, the aircraft and the people around it move with it.
Plain answers
No. We do not sell seats and we do not publish a timetable. You tell us where you want to go and when. We arrange the aircraft around that.
We are not limited to a hangar of the same three jets. The founders have spent decades in this industry. The aircraft is sourced for the trip — light, midsize, heavy or turboprop — from operators we already trust.
A week is comfortable. Forty-eight hours is routine on domestic and regional work. Same-day is possible when the metal and the crew are. If the trip matters, send it through and we will come straight back.
If it is licensed and the surface is honest, yes. That is a large part of the work. Send the coordinates. We will tell you what can land there.
We do not run a marketplace of leftover seats. If a positioning flight happens to suit you, we will say so. The product is a charter, not a bargain.
